Electronic co-op elections

The co-op election has allowed electronic voting for several years. Co-op members have been happy with electronic voting and found it convenient.As a result, S Group is increasingly moving towards electronic elections.
From now on, co-op members will have the option to receive election materials and all other election-related communications just by email. This means that co-op members who have given their consent to electronic elections will no longer receive election materials by post, and they will only be able to vote electronically. Switching to electronic elections is completely voluntary. If you do not give your consent, nothing will change, and you will continue to receive election materials by post to your home.

How can I switch to fully electronic elections?

If you want to receive election-related communications only electronically, we need your consent.Those who have given their consent to electronic elections will receive the election material by email, and the voting will be done online. The verified email address of co-op members who have given their consent will be provided to the cooperative for the purpose of carrying out the electronic elections.When you give your consent to electronic elections, you cannot vote in the elections in any other way than electronically.You can give your consent through the communication settings on S-Etukortti.fi and in S-mobiili.

What else do I need to do when switching to electronic elections?

You must have verified your email address to give your consent to electronic elections. If you have not yet verified your email, you can do so in S-mobiili or on S-Etukortti.fi.

What if I want to withdraw my consent?

If you later want to withdraw your consent to electronic elections, you can do so in the communication settings on S-Etukortti.fi and in S-mobiili. Please note that the consent must be withdrawn no later than the end of the calendar year before each election year. If the consent is withdrawn after that, it will only take effect for the elections of the next election year.
