Stand as a candidate, gather support and have a say in the operations of your own cooperative!
We encourage our members of different ages and backgrounds to stand as candidates. There is no need for prior experience of similar positions. You can stand as a candidate if:
you are at least 18 years of age and legally competent when the election begins
you are a member of your cooperative, and your membership fee has been fully paid by the end of the year before the elections
you reside in the cooperative’s territory
you want to develop your own cooperative’s operations.
